TattleTech™ is the commercial version of TattleTale®. It is designed specifically as a companion product for commercial software developers to assist in providing technical support to their customers. The accompanying document, "Technical Support in the 1990's" provides some of the reasons for using TattleTech. In addition to the "shrink-wrap" tech support which the document describes, TattleTech can also be valuable in a "Beta Test" situation, providing support to users on a network, or in some sort of troubleshooting/consulting function.
FEATURES:
TattleTech incorporates the following features which are not available in TattleTale:
• Lists information on files and folders specified by you, e.g. ones that might be critical to your application.
• Configurable:
- Include only those reports and certain fields which are pertinent to your use
- Create a "faceless" version of TattleTech which requires no user interaction
• Generate Tab-file reports usable by a database
• Library included which allows you to run TattleTech from within your application under system 6 or 7

COST:
The accompanying version of TattleTech is a full working version, complete with documentation. If you decide to use TattleTech, the cost is as follows:

If you are using TattleTech in conjunction with a specific product, the above charges are on a PER PRODUCT basis. Any questions or extenuating circumstances, please contact us.
Payment of this licensing fee entitles you to unlimited use of TattleTech with the exception of reselling it as a product, either by itself or as part of a "collection". You are also entitled to use any upgrades at no additional charge unless a particular upgrade requests an additional fee. (In all likelihood, this will only happen with major "feature" updates.) Finally, by paying the fees, you will be a registered user and entitled to technical support for TattleTech.
The fees and restrictions delineated above do not apply to shareware "distributors" who distribute TattleTech at no charge except media costs or normal downloading costs. In the case of distribution via media, inclusion on media greater in capacity that 1.4MB must be approved in advance. In any event, this type of distribution must include the entire package as released by Tech Tools Corp/Decision Maker's Software, Inc. including all promotional documents, program documentation, program files, etc.

Please print and complete the accompanying Order Form. Payment should be made by check to the order of Decision Maker's Software, Inc. and forwarded to the address at the bottom of this document.
GENERAL REMINDERS:
As described in the documentation, always be sure to use the TattleTech Configure program in conjunction with the TattleTech Master that ships with it. Also be sure to make a COPY of the Tattletech Master and run TattleTech Configure on the COPY.
